Meet recap
Battle on the Bay 2026 — Guam's biggest total, and a pound-for-pound photo finish
A full-power meet on Guam scored as a Best Lifter contest — where the heaviest bar and the strongest lifter for their bodyweight came down to two men separated by less than two points.

Biggest total of the meet
Christian Duenas815 kg
Open class · Raw · 469.37 DOTS
No one moved more weight on the platform than Christian Duenas: a 815 kg total — 280 kg squat, 205 kg bench, 330 kg deadlift — at 119 kg of bodyweight. It was also the second-best pound-for-pound mark of the meet, a fraction behind a much lighter lifter.
What happened
- Christian Duenas moved the most weight on the platform — an 815 kg total (280 squat, 205 bench, 330 deadlift) at 119 kg bodyweight.
- Adjusted for bodyweight it was a near-tie at the top: Alec Reyes scored 470.93 DOTS on a 727.5 kg total at 89.8 kg, a whisker ahead of Duenas's 469.37 — the two clear of the field.
- Morgan Duenas posted the top women's total, 432.5 kg at 64 kg bodyweight, and the third-best DOTS (460.75) of the entire meet — men or women.
- Behind the leaders sat a dense pack of 450-plus DOTS raw performances — Devin Estevez-Perez (459.05), Luis Dela Cruz (453.38) and Emyl Dela Cruz (451.34) among them.
- The meet ran as a Best Lifter event, ranked across all weight classes, so DOTS — which adjusts for bodyweight — is the lens that matches how it was scored.
The board
The heaviest totals of the day. Total is the headline number; DOTS adjusts for bodyweight and sex, so it ranks strength across the weight classes — which, at a Best Lifter meet, is how the placing was actually decided.

Battle on the Bay was contested as a Best Lifter event — lifters ranked across all weight classes, not only within them — so DOTS, which adjusts for bodyweight, is the lens that matches how the meet was scored. "Open" in the class column marks the cross-class Best Lifter flight; Juniors, Masters and Teens lifted in their own age categories and keep their weight class.
Strongest pound-for-pound
Alec Reyes · 470.93 DOTS — the top bodyweight-adjusted mark of the meet — 727.5 kg at 89.8 kg, edging the meet's biggest total by a fraction of a point
A meet built for pound-for-pound
Most of the field lifted in the open Best Lifter flight, ranked across every weight class at once. That format rewards exactly what raw totals hide: a lighter lifter matching a heavier one is the whole point. Alec Reyes, at 89.8 kg, out-scoring an 815 kg total from a lifter 30 kg heavier is the meet in miniature.
It also isn't a room of newcomers. Reyes has a competition record in our database going back to 2014, Christian Duenas to 2017 — both across multiple federations — and Morgan Duenas has been on the platform since 2023. Their profile pages carry those full histories in one place.
