The board

The meet's biggest totals, by class. Total is the headline number; DOTS adjusts for bodyweight and sex, so it ranks strength across the weight classes — which is where this meet's real story lives.

City Cup was contested by weight class, as usual. The DOTS column is our lens for comparing everyone on equal footing: it adjusts the total for bodyweight, so the biggest total and the best DOTS needn't be the same person.

Strongest pound-for-pound

Jan Alexander Rodríguez · 445.15 DOTS — the second-best pound-for-pound mark of the meet — a 66 kg junior, 557.5 kg total, a breath from the meet's best DOTS

The juniors showed up

The second-best pound-for-pound mark of the meet didn't come from the heavy classes but from a 66 kg junior: Jan Alexander Rodríguez, 445.15 DOTS, a hair behind Thurber. And in the three-way tie at 690 kg in the 105s, one of the three — Andy Lam — also competes as a junior, alongside Omar Adrián Villalta a few kilos down.

It isn't a room of first-timers, either: several of the names here arrive with more than one meet in our database, and their profile gathers that history in one place.

How the meet unfolded — pound for pound

Every attempt in competition order, scored on DOTS — so lighter and heavier lifters race on one line. Hover or tap a lifter in the standings to follow their line through the meet.
